Lance Armstrong - Live Strong

I'm not sure who watched Oprah yesterday with Lance Armstrong and Sheryl Crow. I was up late and watched the repeat of the show at 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. It was such an inspiring show. I love watching people overcoming odds and Lance is an amazing example. I'm sure he's an inspiration to anyone with cancer, and shows a determination to live a strong life. Oprah mentioned that they were selling the Live Strong bracelets on her website. They only cost $1.00 and the money goes for cancer research. It's a way to remind ourselves that life is short, so we should take advantage of the opportunites we are given.

Lance's book It's Not About the Bike, is a best seller and tells more of his story. I bought bracelets for my nieces and nephews and hope they'll recognize the real meaning of Live Strong!
