Exercise and Well-Being
There is a very strong link between exercise and a sense of well-being. First there is an actual chemical reaction that occurs in the body when you exercise. Your body releases endorphins which cause you to physically and mentally experience a sense of well-being. But I think there are more than just that link. When you exercise you are working on improving your life, relieving stress, building muscle, and doing something to renew yourself. All of those things add an emotional element -- a feeling of doing something good for your life. Plus, if you have set exercise goals and you are achieving them, you have a mental and emotional satisfaction. Exercise is one of the best ways to change negative moods and if you can incorporate some type of exercise into your daily routine, you will definitely have a better outlook on life.
